- VistaTEC is delighted to announce the establishment of the VistaTEC Language Review Services (VLRS) division.
The Language Translation process includes professional translations by a native speaker, in house editing and proofreading. Also included in translation is implementation of one set of review feedback changes from the client.
At VistaTEC we know that only in-country professional linguists can truly localize a product. It is not simply a question of language quality – translators must be immersed in their county’s culture, in synchronisation with local trends and up to date with the most current technical jargon. In order to ensure the best service possible for our clients, VistaTEC only work with partner companies who have met our rigorous quality standards.
Due to these high standards, VistaTEC has established a number of longstanding relationships with some of the world’s largest companies, providing them with quality and reliability on a consistent basis.
As VistaTEC have stable language partner relationships all over the world, this allows us a great range of scalability far beyond what could be achieved using an in-house team, or teams of freelancers. Any new partners are hand picked and subjected to in-depth translation tests, as well as tests to verify their technical ability.
Our overall relationships and service levels are constantly and systematically monitored and measured. This provides detailed information as to how each and every partner is performing at any time. In order to ensure quality, VistaTEC has built a number of tools specifically for this purpose, such as "Venice". The VistaTEC Tools team created ‘Venice’ as an application for the reporting and tracking of issues related to vendors. Venice is used by all Account Managers, and managed and analyzed by the Vendor Manager, who then submits monthly benchmarking reports to all language partners.
All of our translators are professionals with at least a 3rd level translation qualification. At a minimum our translators have at least 2-3 years experience in a related industry field, and the majority have been working with us for many more years. Each translator is assigned based on previous project experience and area of expertise.
A thorough terminology process is followed. Glossaries are typically created or updated at the project preparation stage. Client requirements in this area can differ significantly – some have established language departments in-house while other are starting from scratch. Our language coordinators work with each client to establish the best process and tools to suit individual needs. In addition, use of reference material (from previous projects or general) provides additional context. VistaTEC has access to local Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) that can be called upon for independent review or expert support.
